They are a slightly firmer cushion than the original Beats pads, however they are still "wicked" comfortable, and the firmer pad makes the sound more isolated and the headphones perform even better

Hey these r ligit they look great and r soft on ears and as far as I can tell they r good quality

The YouTube Video is very detailed and nothing additional is needed except for a butter knife (The other product I looked at needed super glue)

How To Replace video on YouTube (the one narrated by Stewie), remove the wrecked pads (with a butter knife!), and clean up the surface

Read the directions, watch the YouTube video and then grab a butter knife

Removing the old ear pads was simple, I took a butter knife and stuck it between the ear pad and the beats structure, and slightly pushed until I heard the velcro starting to let loose, and from there on I just kept peeling it off with my hand
