So, if you're willing to play the cartoonish(and quite frankly, silly) base game with no additions, knowing you're having a limited, unchallenging and incomplete experience of what C:Sky is capable of
I do wish they'd put out some futuristic dlc, similar to SimCity's Cities of Tomorrow (probably the coolest dlc in a city builder ever).
The DLC and updates they perform are also excellent.

full price(which is reasonable) this game is worth it, but just wait for a sale as they happen often.
A great game for a great price.

Only complaint is that the interface isn't as good as Sim City 4, but then again that game was pretty much perfect
From one minute you could be the cleanest city in the game, but in minutes you can have the dirtiest city in the world, have poop take over, flood everything and get people sick

So, this leads to the dilemma that given the fact that it takes a few hundred hours to get a city started, what is the use of making this city-building effort knowing in advance your city will be lost and all the effort you put into it is essentially wasted and in vain
If you want something more, in other words if you want a realistic city like some of those vids you've seen on YouTube(especially the ones by Keralis and Strictoaster), you HAVE TO HAVE mods and assets which are available on the Steam
The modding community has produced a large number of custom looks and tweaks for the game, and it's truly a bargain for such an immersive title.
Love the community and support around this game
The mod community for this game keeps it fresh as well.

tons of fun, good time waster, takes sim city to another level worth the purchase
Every time the developers release a new patch or DLC package which is every few months, it will invalidate many of the mods and assets you have where even one that is non-functional will prevent your city from even loading up
Every time I try, either the game shuts down right after I select a plot of land, or it refuses to load (stays in the "loading" screen)
