The only good thing that has come from this is that my son loves vinyl now.
I purchased this record player for my son for Christmas, I'm visiting him now and wanted to listen to a record, but this thing is total crap, the turntable is so wobbly it makes all records sound warped, even brand new ones
The thing looks great... but for this much money the build quality could be better; the needle is heavy and it digs into your records
This thing is perfect for just the average person who just wants to listen to some classic tunes
Even for a budget-priced portable this thing is terrible
I quickly learned I valued my records and buying a cheap turntable would only damage them
For real, warm, room-filling vinyl sound, you'll need to step up to a proper turntable -- not a little all-in-one portable -- but you already knew that

I did a little research into other people having the same issues with this player and just concluded that this is a cheap beginners turntable
It's not worth spending even more money at this point to see whether Crosley can address the issues with their faulty product (shipping at cost to customer both ways, really?!!), so lesson learned I suppose.
This is a very cheap product that goes through needles very quickly, despite how gentle you are with them.
This makes for a great product for someone that wants to either take their record player with them somewhere on an extended trip, or for someone that is taking the first steps in listening to records.
