So it looks like their products are not compatible with themselves!
Final conclusion -- Great product -- Place the new RAM in the open slots (1&3) -- Give the computer 30 seconds of black screen and it will boot up, otherwise check to make sure everything is seeded and inserted properly, my guess is that even the slightest offset throws the whole system off.
Great wbsite to identify the right product and easy to install.
excellent product at a good price, bought it for my new iMac.
Good price, fast delivery, super easy installation, happy 40 GB iMac, very happy owner/user.
Installation was easy and my iMac immediately detected all 4 DIMMs
Wicked fast delivery, great value when compared to Apple memory (I think they must build theirs with Unicorn Tears or something), and super-easy installation!!
absolutely no issues with ordering, shipping (shipped to Russia via Amazon Global) and installing - put in slots where original memory was installed (2-4), boot took about 10-15 seconds with no issues, overall performance is much better with 24 gigs as there was no time the memory utilization has grown higher than 30% of max
The improved performance easily outdistanced the cost, which is very reasonable.

My 2017 IMAC failed to boot while this memory was installed.
The install was easy and it recognized the new memory for a total of 40GB without any problem.
I added the 16GBx2 modules to my brand new 2017 iMac 5K 3.8 (purchased in September 2017) and just like MCannon and Seattle Guy my iMac would not boot up while the new memory was installed.
Easy install and worked great for a total of 24MB Memory.
Was able to expand my current new iMac's memory to 40GB - easy install - works great
Timely delivery for update to the 2017 I5 27 inch Imac.
