Reviews around feature (5.00 of 5)

  • Only the HDMI port supports the Dell HDR feature at 60hz
  • If the features I listed above are important to you, go with the Dell
  • If this is an important feature for you, be sure your PC has HDMI 2.0 port(s).Overall, if you're in the market for a midrange UHD/4K display, your best bet is either this one or the LG 27UD68P-
  • The thin bezels are a great feature that add a factor of immersion to the display
  • Things of possible importance:The "Smart HDR" feature is greyed out in the menu if you don't connect via HDMI

Reviews around stand (5.00 of 5)

  • The stand is very stable, and has height, tilt, and rotation (you can use this is portrait or landscape mode)
  • Pros- High quality stand with rotation.- Cables included for pc or mac.- Worked immediately out of the box on iMac and macos 10.12+
  • It looked a little better on the PC due to the Xbox not being able to run in 4KI do like the quality feel of the monitor and the adjustable stand
  • I got a desk mount for this monitor but considered not even doing so because the stand it comes with is fantastic as well
  • Really like the thin Infinity bezel and the fully adjustable stand

Reviews around resolution (5.00 of 5)

  • I love the resolution, pixel density and the thin bezels
  • People say 4k is overkill for documents and office work, but when you put a couple of full pages of text on screen, having resolution high enough to make small fonts clear is really important
  • I love the thin bezel and 4K resolution, but the color shifting and image retention issues may be deal-breakers for me.
  • The colors are true and I love the resolution for working with adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, I am not a gamer
  • I bought it for coding, and for those purposes it's very good - big screen, high resolution.

Reviews around price (5.00 of 5)

  • I was originally looking to purchase a fully HDR compliant monitor but the price was too good and I settled for the consumer model
  • Solid price from an amazon lighting deal was the icing on the cake !
  • When there is a pixel-free curved monitor available at a reasonable price - preferably with a slightly taller aspect ratio, I will switch
  • A fantastic monitor with a great business class design at a pretty good price.

Reviews around size (5.00 of 5)

  • really like this - color is great, nice size
  • I would prefer a larger nominal size with a taller aspect ratio, but for now, most of the choices are still 14:9

Reviews around quality (4.24 of 5)

  • The Dell also seems to have better quality from my perspective
  • a little dim for HDR, but good quality otherwise.
  • Overall, this monitor looks better next to the LG with more streamlined sides and a better quality exterior
  • High quality monitor that works best with high end graphics card.
  • Poor build quality

Reviews around color (4.08 of 5)

  • These two issues aside, the monitor feels well-built and the dark color scheme
  • Note: Don't use YCbCr422 or 420, those will produce false color artifacts and make fine detail such as text look off
  • I've been using previously (though the color is MUCH more accurate than on that monitor)
  • This is a great monitor... great color depth, super clear, good brightness, looks great.
  • While the color reproduction is pretty accurate, the light leaks on both of the monitors I purchase is pretty horrendous

Reviews around issue (3.75 of 5)

  • Dell's customer service in helping me address this issue was stellar, so I am upgrading my rating of the monitor and deleting my criticism.
  • Thankfully, Dell has recently released a firmware that corrects this issue, version M2B102
  • Glare is not an issue if you work in a professional environment capable of controlling light sources; if you can't, you have bigger issues
  • I figured they must have determined the issue and corrected it

Reviews around screen (3.25 of 5)

  • This causes a black screen and effectively breaks your expensive tv or monitor
  • Excellent screen, bright, vibrant, and the small bezel is excellent
  • My late 2016 Macbook Pro screen looks noticeably more vivid, and color reproduction looks more accurate
  • Overall the screen is incredibly crisp with accurate colors & contrast - just what I wanted
  • The mediocre and bad:At oblique angles, IPS glow is visible on the corners when the screen is dark as is expected of IPS panels

Reviews around pixel (1.20 of 5)

  • I understand that they cannot guarantee zero dead pixels, but four together should have caused this screen to be rejected.
  • Four dead pixels in a row near the center of my screen means there is a noticeable black streak which is quite annoying.
  • I couldn’t find any dead pixels, and there’s only minor backlight bleed along the bottom, left, and right edges (for thin monitors like this one, a little bleeding is pretty much unavoidable)
  • Also, NO dead pixels, NO backlight bleed, none of the panel issues that monitors can suffer from
  • All of that is behind me now, I've decided to join the real world and get a display that is not glossy, not retina, not OLED, just good old fashioned pixels with a matte finish.

Reviews around bleed (1.00 of 5)

  • I'll start by saying I would give this monitor 4.5 stars if possible due to excessive backlight bleed with the first monitor I received
  • I got two of these monitors about a year ago, there is some bleeding like other customers, I have heavy backlight bleeding on these, but the other issue that is more annoying is the image burn in that I get
  • Also, NO dead pixels, NO backlight bleed, none of the panel issues that monitors can suffer from
  • Viewing angles are poor, light bleed is a slight problem, and it doesn't have anything like the contrast you might expect from something calling
