This is my first projection screen, so I do not have anything else to compare it to, all I know is that the image looks great with my Benq 1070 projector

This is my 3rd screen as well as my 3rd projector and this is by far the best screen I have ever had

Rarely do you see any 'hot spots', except in some really bright scenes

The felt overlay has a few little shoddy spots (Black Sharpie fixed that) and doesn't perfectly align in one joint, but it's nothing

In certain situations you will see hot spots, but it can be minimized with projector placement and keeping lumens low

Screen material is overly glossy, giving me a noticeable and fairly large hot spot with a Benq W1070 projector

Here's the issue:I'm sitting 12-13' front of screen and the hot spot isn't a spot it's a full height section from any seat.. sitting left side=bright and fades right, sitting right side=bright and fades left, sitting center, you guessed it fades left and right

Overall, this is a great value and a nice screen for the money.

My theater looks like it cost $25,000, but thanks in part to this beautiful, great value screen, it only cost one thenth that

At this price I was worried it would be crappy quality, but I don't have any complaints.

I must give it 4 stars because the manufacturing of some of the hardware pieces was of fairly poor quality:--The center brackets that join the two halves of the frame still had plastic sticking out from the molding process, so I had to spend quite some time shaving the excess off since the affected area was in an awkward location .--Some of the threads on brackets mentioned above, where the screws to go into ,were already stripped out of the box, so when I tried to tighten up some of the screws, they just went right in the

I would recommend this screen to anyone setting up a media room with a good dark room.

My room is not fully dark but the screen works great even when I have my projector on ECO mode (lower brightness)

Yes your fingers will get a bit sore pressing the clips into the frame so, take a break

As others have stated, the clips to hold the screen together do a number on your fingers.

Some issues I had were they didn't provide enough screen clips for each red mark on the frame

Overall assuming the missing clips & one section frame flaw is not the norm for this product I would recommend it at the price.

The velvet edging was sprayed on to the aluminum frame, but it i well done, and doesn't come loose.

Don't try inserting the ~70 clips by hand, or your fingers will be really sore!
