Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I REV Bluetooth 4.2/Wireless AC/B/G/N Band Dual Frequency 2.4Ghz/5.8Ghz Expansion Card
Print Fully qualified Bluetooth 4.2 IEEE802.11ac standards compliant Antenna to support WLAN 2Tx2R transmission High speed wireless connection up to 867 Mbps Bluetooth Enhances Data Rate (EDR) support
Speed and reliability of the connection is great, fantastic
The good:This device and its antenna, powered by the Intel 7260 AC wireless adapter, gets a stronger signal from my N router than my previous Intel Centrino 6300N (which had 3 hi-gain, dual-band antennas, and was also connected through a PCI-e adapter). The bad and the ugly
Slow WiFi speeds, not dual band, etc - cheap garbage despite being only $10 cheaper than the Gigabyte card
My main concern was if this would slow down the speed of the internet and cause my ping to go up but it actually runs just as well as being hardwired into the router
This wi-fi card worked perfectly well on my Ubuntu (15.04) desktop, but had horrible download speeds on my Win7 (64x) desktop with identical parts
Installing the card is easy (it's a tiny PCIe card) and the "hassle" is a small price to pay for reliable WLAN
This card does exactly what it says at a very competitive price

Would recommend this to anyone who wants Wi-Fi or Bluetooth added to their desktop for a good price.
Bluetooth works perfectly, and this really is a great price for this level of functionality.
Easy to install both the card and the drivers, antenna mounts to pretty much any metallic surface, good reception

and I get worse reception resulting in more input lag than a $3 bluetooth
I get great reception and the Bluetooth works very well with my Xbox and PS4 controllers

The bluetooth part of the card works great and can work at distances over 15 or 20 ft
Product works very well, however getting it to work is another matter (not related to product itself, but Windows 7)If you cannot get the Intel Bluetooth driver to install on Windows
WIFI works really well and the Bluetooth works well, when they are used separately from each other
While the wifi card works fine, intels current 19.x.x drivers are buggy on windows 10
Wifi and bluetooth are working good with the single antenna
The antenna is a bit bulky, however, it has a magnetic grip on the base so you can really stick it to any metal part of your case
Dual band support is great and the magnetic antenna is great
So I'm docking one star for the mediocre stock antenna, but it does have one redeeming quality in that it's base is magnetic, and pretty strong at that
The antenna seems to work great and it being detachable, magnetic and multi-directional, are all amazing features.
The case has magnetically attached air filters (which are quite nifty) but that means if I were to set the antenna on top and then knock it over or move it, it would move the filter with it
Excellent Wireless N capability and range, I do not have an AC

Resolved some of my connectivity issues from my old ASUS wireless card
Don't buy this unless you have a funky shaped motherboard.
Without a doubt, this dual band WiFi/Bluetooth 4.0 W/ antenna is as good as or better than anything I've used in the past 2 years
The WiFi is working great, it's about as fast as with an ethernet connection (or at least I haven't noticed the difference).I'm just having issues with the bluetooth.
and my motherboard hasn't had any problems in the four years I've had it.
what's the point of that when I bought it for AC-Band connectivity? In summary, I think this card fried one of my PCIe slots on my ultra-expensive motherboard.
I dont know if it my motherboard just not having the correct port for the f-usb connection or a driver issue.
(normally I get like 2MB/s if I'm lucky on my Win 10 laptop connected to the same 5 GHz network)
Maybe it's a Windows 10 vs 7 driver issue, maybe the PCI-Express card interface is the issue, maybe the Intel card developed Alzheimer's, maybe the gods look unfavorably upon it
Bluetooth stopped working a few months after purchase.edit: must have been a Windows 10 driver issue
I suspected a driver issue and wasted time downloading drivers

ac1200 adapter (good luck finding one at this price) and have horrible lag as well
BT headphones and so forth have always had great connection to Kindle and iPhone, but the lag THIS device has on PC for audio is horrible and this card causes tons of interference on wi-fi bands (trying to load and listen to a YouTube video is pointless with this card and BT earbuds)
Arrived on time, works as you would expect it to, fit nicely into the slot
How a primary device that's dedicated to a task all its own can have so much lag is bewildering to me
and then I ran into issues with windows 10 and ended up having to format my hard drive to reinstall it decided to try and use the card
By not installing the 330MB Intel software, you can save some hard drive space and the card works just fine.
Finally I went and downloaded Gigabyte's software (only because I lack an optical drive, you can probably just go ahead and pop the disk in), and the problem disappeared entirely
I was a little alarmed by this, as I have always been paranoid about magnets and hard drives
