I used it, was just what I was looking for (the right price)

Very sturdy and easily drilled for mounting hardware to and the price was great.

As long as I can get a small piece at a reasonable price, I won't bother buying a full sheet to store the remainder.

But still a very good price, will be buying more for my boat projects.

This is the best price I have found out there, even beat my local plastics supplier.

I am not a polymer expert but this stuff was exactly like (white) plexiglass

This stuff is strong, machines well and holds threads for bolts.

There is no protective film on the sheets, though I expected there would be.

You would think that these have a protective film to remove due to the scratches most likely picked up from shipping

It would help if this came with a peel off protective film because both sides were very scratched.

Item arrived with no protective film and is severely scratched

It would have been better if it had a protective plastic film so the surface wasn't scuffed up.

Made soap molds for the Mrs. using this item, works great.

Although the product is as discribed, they take no care to get you the product in good condition

12x24 arrived in good condition no warping and used for a dash panel in my boat

This is a fine sheet of plastic - smooth and well finished.

so if you are looking for a application where finish is important this may or may not work for you.

The finish is smooth and shiny so if you wanted matte order something else.

Cutting this was no issue with a jigsaw and I planed the edge to get a good finish

You can't list a product as smooth finish if the entire board (top and bottom) is scratched

Two shipments, two incorrect sizes.

I had the perfect size circle door knob drill bit so that cutting part went faster

but you should change your label to reflect the right size

Cannot complete the project now because of incorrect size.

I have tried the sheet not covered with parchment paper with paint that wasn't very good quality & the results were mediocre

As another poster, used for snow blower skids so doesn't scratch a ground aggregate decorative drive.

not for critical use so will work where a better and more expensive marine board is not needed.

The box the HDPE was shipped in was damaged upon arrival, but the HDPE itself was just fine.

Noticed all the reviews about the manufacturer supplying their HDPE undersized but that was irrelevant with my project

HDPE machines well on a CNC router I have and has many uses in the lab setting in which I work.

Half of the project used a 1/2 inch thick cutting board which was a softer HDPE and held up well to drilling.

Since HDPE is much cheaper, and has a very low friction coefficient, I choose this product.

And the scratched areas looked almost like they were scratched with a rough greasy surface

Furthermore, the surfaces have significant scuffing and it was shipped with no protective adhesive layer as is fairly commonplace

Going to try and clamp this piece between two hard surfaces for a while, and maybe put out in the direct sunlight to use heat to straighten it out

I was afraid the surface of the HDPE would be scuffed and ugly as some other reviewer had mentioned, but my piece looks great.

The top and bottom surfaces are smooth and have only minimal surface scratches that will be easily removed with rubbing compound.
