Unfortunately I didn't realize that a iOttie Sticky Gel Dashboard Pad comes with the Easy One Touch 3, but it wasn't expensive and I will probably need an extra one in the future.
I did watch a few videos how to install the iOttie Easy One Touch 3
For my surprise, when i got to the car, the pad (along with my iOttie Easy One Touch) was lying on the floor
Now I can't remove the iOttie from the phone holder iOttie easy one touch, because it also has somehow become stuck on the pad

The good news is that the new adhesive pad came off my dash without leaving any residue or damaging my car

Advertised as a permanent mount but fell off dash after two weeks
Then the mount won't stick as well anymore because there is a bump that grew in the middle of the pad
After the trip, I'll probably return to using the vent mount.
this sticky pad is weaker then the one on the ottie mount itself and when i tried to stick this to my textured dash, which it is suppose to be better then other gel pads for, and did not stick at all waste of money the mount itself is great though
I had a dash that a phone mount wouldn't stick to and by using this, the mount is now stable.
Pretty awesome product, it has a perfect size and does not stain the dashboard

Pros: Great for flat surfaces, hard plastic surfaces, glass, and those dots on your windshield behind the rear view mirror that are suppose to help ease sunlight
