Mic is pretty good too (and all of this for a pretty decent price).

Some games the surround sound works well and some games I prefer without surround sound on.

The 7.1 simulated surround works very well through the included sound card and software

Cons:- 7.1 virtual surround is useless, because the usb dongle doesn't output enough power

I have never gotten the 7.1 surround sound feature to work

i used it for about a month not even regularly and pulled on the earpiece to adjust it and the connection snapped was a very awful product in total due to that and had the warranty which wasnt in the box, all around a terrible experience and will urge everyone not to buy a logitech piece of equipment ever again worst headset experience in my 28 years of living

Good headphones, however, they break easily because of the cheap thin plastic

Other than that these headphones look great and the seem durable

They work really well, it has decent bass and those 7.1 surround sound works really well for FPS.

Speaker and mic work great, but they broke quickly where the headset swivles, plastic made a pop sound, and I can't exchange them or return them because I don't have the box, waste of $$ if you tell me.

Don't get me wrong, they still work great when not broken or spreading plastic pieces everywhere as they fall apart, and I love logitech's products but these headsets aren't worth it unless you need something cheap (as these are always on sale) that'll last you long enough to buy a better pair

Nice sound, excellent microphone, comfortable padding around my ears, this headphones are excellent quality for talking and the sound is really nice, I use it for gaming.

In April of 2018, the piece of plastic that secures the right earpiece in place broke as I was placing them on my head, so that the right earpiece is loose and nothing is holding it against my head.

The sound quality is good for the price, the pads are comfortable and the cord is very long

The padding were very stiff and uncomfortable but a week later, it became soft and some what comfortable

usb audio adapter broke within a month and mic is useless without the software, which for some reason you need the usb adapter for

The only thing is the USB splitter is very crappy and causes the headset to have bad audio

The adapter provided is from the split audio and mic lines to USB standard.

The software you gotta download is useless and will mess up your configuration and audio so don't get it

IT's ok, a little tight, but the sound is clear and the audio seems to work.

If they had a flip up mute they'd be the perfect wired headset.

they work well but the wires tend to twist themselves up making it a tug and war every now and again

Comfy from day one and the cord is made of a good material so it will last a long time.

The krakens are way too heavy, the ear cups are uncomfortable and my ears get hot almost immediately

The headband itself doesn't adjust to accommodate wider heads while the ear cups are adjustable to accommodate people with taller heads which I feel is where the flaw is in the design

I have small ears and these ear cups go over the ears like designed for everyone, however, they just clamped too hard on my head and hurt the underneath part of my ears (kind of behind my jaw) after a couple hours of gaming

I have a hard time telling when things are behind me compared to just being directly to the left or to the right of me

I've had two of these headsets, the first time the left sidepiece cracked, I then got my second one which after 2 months had the exact same problem only this time both the left and right sidepieces cracked

I'm not very rough with things; pieces of the plastic just started to randomly break off until eventually, the whole right earphone fell off

They are very uncomfortable to wear for longer than about 30 minutes and the top foam piece that touches your head hurts as well as the over ear pieces

I really liked these headphones, the cloth earpads are big and comfortable and the sound is pretty good; however, mine crapped out on me (can't hear voices, music is all distorted) at just over the 3 month product support period.

It's a decent headset for about 3-4 months then the cheap plastic it's made with starts to break

The rotating joints are made out of very cheap and weak plastic and it will break and become unusable!
