This works great for our kids room for them to listen to a cd at night, but the alarm clock function will not work if you play a cd.
The older version of NRC-175 worked great and easy to program but these newer version of NRC-175 are hard to program the alarm and you can not set the alarm volume
The radio works really well and even gets a station I like that is hard to get
CD player didn't work from day one but radio is good and alarms work fine.

It's ridiculously hard to figure out how to work, and has terrible sound quality.
nice quality sound and brings in all the radio stations that I like, and the cd I use mainly for my sleep meditation before bed, Little hard to figure out how to adjust all the different things on it, keep the instructions in my night stand drawer...
Unit is attractive, nice clock and the sound quality is pleasant for its size and price.
