Thirteen watts is not really bright enough to provide enough light on its own but in a fairly well lit room, this lamp provides excellent task lighting

The quality of the entire lamp is questionable with the overly-high gloss on blatantly cheap plastic and the flimsy joints that hold the lamp crooked

Not a piece of metal anywhere, all cheap plastic from China.
