I bought this antenna to attach to an old radio for use in my office at work; my office was on the first underground level of the building and got terrible radio reception on the one
I bought this antenna because it was featured as frequently bought with the Sangen WR-11SE table top radio I bought.
It helps my radio sound clearer on some stations that otherwise wouldn't pick up clearly at all.
It works for what it is made to do... lets a person listen to their favorite radio FM channels out in the middle of "no-where" country.
While my FM radio reception did improve when I installed the dipole, distant stations (>25 miles) are somewhat fuzzy and don't come in at all on rainy days.

Like any antenna, you'll have to move it around to find peak reception on your favorite station and then pin it up in that position
My favorite radio station is in Austin, TX, and I'm about 60 miles away, and my new radio and this antenna, make it great to listen to KLBJ-FM, so I do recommend it.
It's surprising how much improvement you can get with a stubborn signal by just moving its segments around every which way until you hit a reception sweet spot.
Antenna improved weak signals to strong signal for the local station.
It took a bit of moving around for strong signal but after that works good
Works great for local reception in a strong signal area
It's improved radio signal in the garage so we could listen to all our stations
