The ink also tends to "spread" when writing on cardstock and construction paper in that your lines turn thicker and fuzzier a few seconds after you've drawn them.

There are needle tip refills available, which are good, but I like the metal tips the best.

I prefer a finer tip - it feels like the 0.7 'wastes' ink - it is gone too quickly
