The included Cakewalk software didn't work with Win7, so I have to use Audacity, but all in all, a good set of equipment for voice recording.
This USB microphone/headphone set are a fantastic starter set for the aspiring podcaster who wants to sound professional from the start
My youtube videos will certainly sound better, too (I'm a voice actor as well).I would definitely recommend this set to anyone who wants to record at a level that sounds better than a home recording.
This is a great set for those that are just starting to record
I like the set up, but this is the only thing that is crappy with this product.
Sam Ash charges double the price I purchase this for , great thing knowing you saved some money .
My favorite thing about this microphone is that it also doubles as a playback device.
For the price point, This thing is OUTSTANDING!!I found out about this mic from Podcastage on YouTube
Another great thing about this Samson - not to be mistaken with Samsung, is that you can not only plug it directly into the USB port, you can also plug it directly into the GOLD STANDARD XLR port - the standard mic port on mixing boards, or other like equipment

For the value you get a solid set of headphones (well balanced, good tone, differentiates channels, and are comfortable), and a very stylish dynamic microphone that doesn't need phantom power - this is a solid set
A great multiuse mic for someone who doesn't have high-end needs but would like improved tone and clarity compared to cheap mics or built-in mics on your laptop or other device

The microphone works OK, but I don't appreciate paying for and expecting a new item and receiving a used item
This microphone is great for the price and competes with the snowball at the same price range
The microphone works perfectly, but the headphones were very uncomfortable.
but I didn't like the fact that I had to had to bring it so close to my mouth to get a high volume recording because that cause the microphone to pick the breathing noise and some popping sound
I am a music producer and needed a cheap microphone for auditions this works way better than I expected it too
The microphone and earphone are working just fine, and when I saw that a mic pedestal came together, I got surprised
The mic works great and the sound is 90% as good as any Heil or other expensive mic--buy one of these first
I sing online Karaoke on singsnap and the mic works great
I dislike the headphones, although they sort of work
I wouldn't say it sounds like a $300-$400 mic, but it really sounds good, both on USB and XLR connections, and the direct monitoring (for USB only) works perfectly.
He says it has a really great sound and he likes that you can connect the microphone and headphones together and even control the headphone volume from the bottom of the mic
sometimes when singing loudly, sound would get distorted a bit
It's way better than my old headset mic, which had an intermittent buzzing sound
the sound is bad there is no bass or anything it sound like the sound you would hear from a old phone just plain bad.
, the sound is great, the headset is comfortable and has great sound... there is an output on the mic for
he is really happy with ur product that is why i give u guys a 5 and he will do busy with u again so thank u for making his christmas good even though we gotbit 4 days after we was suppose to thank u
I set it up with the windscreen and everything, did tests on background noise and controller button clicking, keyboard clicking and clicking as hard as
Still its not a bad mic and a good value
and I am hard pressed to find the cause, but I still think it is an overall great value and will be buying another one most likely!
Setup was a doddle, it got here way faster than I thought... in general an excellent purchase and great value.
I take good care of these items and still the wiring is lacking in durability as well as the headphones capability to last more than a couple of months without losing hearing capability on both sides.
For the value you get a solid set of headphones (well balanced, good tone, differentiates channels, and are comfortable), and a very stylish dynamic microphone that doesn't need phantom power - this is a solid set
The headphones sound good enough, especially considering the price, and I really think that this is the best USB microphone you can get for under $50.Microphone for price
OK, the headphones are pretty crappy, but the mic itself is really good
The microphone works perfectly, but the headphones were very uncomfortable.
Large amount of background noise compared to similar mics.
I set it up with the windscreen and everything, did tests on background noise and controller button clicking, keyboard clicking and clicking as hard as
In general, most mics I've used have some sort of hissing or buzzing background noise
the sound with the plug was not as clear as with the
it sounded clear and crisp with very little background noise, even though I had the window open
