We have several different models and they all work great

In our opinion this particular model is the best from TVG.

I have been buying, selling, refurbishing and repairing TV Guardians since 2008.The 501 model is the best model out there when it comes to HD HDMI connections

This model on the other hand is a breeze to setup up, is doing a good job at catching the bulk of the foul language (with the rapid growth TV technology it shouldn't be expected that the TVG will catch everything perfectly each time) and I LOVE IT!

Onto the good stuff -- it does a good job of deleting bad words and you can modify the setting from moderate to strict.

This is my third TV Guardian over several years, this is an item I don't want to be without--works awesomeI can now enjoy a good movie without having to listen to the language.

Even when working they are not as accurate at catching bad words as the previuos units.

The TV Guardian people came up with a GREAT idea in the TV Guardian

Sometimes we hear the unwanted language after it mutes.

fiber optic outlet does not work, will not filter foul language

We have been looking for an option to filter unwanted language from our TV.

Can have these shows on when children or people that object to hearing the foul language.

It has issues at times syncing with the closed captioning, so it misses the words

most of time it would not monitor, it was late in muting the bad words

Sadly, we have recently seen a couple of commercials that have bad words and these commercials do not have CC so this sadly does not block those out.

Sometimes, it misses words if the closed captioning is lagging behind the audio.

but apparantly it does not work with Blue ray or about half of DVDs that have come out since 2009

Also TVG does not work with any Universal DVDs - they use a different coding.
