In comparison the V-MODAs are more comfortable, cleaner sounding, more bass without losing mids, more convenient fold up design, better looking ; no stupid b on the side
Cons:If you squeeze them against your head you hear "clang" sounds as if sometihing was loose or cheaply built.
I love theses headphones in every way especially the build quality the only problem I have is with the matte black paint I have had two of these headphones as well as the xs in matte black and it seems like the paint job is a little messed up on all of
For the headphones themselves the build quality is phenomenal, V moda does not mess around, nothing feels flimsy everything is well built and they look incredible
All I can say is amazing sound, cool design and great comfort
They feel extremely durable, sound amazing, and have a great design.
Beautiful & Gorgeous Design, Sound Quality, and comfort !!
The visual design of the headphones are good, not perfect... feels like something is missing, perhaps with the headband not really matching up with the form factor of the ear pieces.- Finally the gap
However, the mechanical design is frustratingly problematic
I'm pretty sure that you can find headphones that sound as good as or better than these, the problem is that you would pay much more than these cost
I Listen to all sorts of music ranging from rock, metal to hip hop, r&b, jazz and country music and these headphones work fine with all of them
Overall: These headphones have gone through the ringer of a college lifestyle for almost six months now and still look, sound and feel as great as the day I got them
I would say I don;t regret the 5 stars, but I do with it came with the X-Large foam inserts, I paid the extra $20 for them and they are just so much more comfortable for any size ear.
If you don't spring for the $30 XL memory cushions, enjoy a highly uncomfortable (and sticky feeling) listening experience
If you are overwhelmed by the choices of headphones available in the $300 price range, are looking for something to use at home as well as on the go and care about quality sound while also appreciating deep, powerful, tight bass, these are simply the best choice available.
The wing plates (where the metal frame that holds the cups meets the headband) are made of a brittle, cheap plastic that cracks over time
All the cables are kevlar reinforced and are not made out of cheap plastic but instead out of fabric which makes them like little ropes and VERY durable
On the positive I really like the way they combined steel and plastic in the headphones that gives these and industrial look and and a high quality feel

The only complaint that I have is that they can hurt your ears if you wear them for long
That being said, I do feel like I have larger ears, but the headphones were uncomfortable to wear for after a little while because the ear cups pressed in directly on my ears
The beats had very comfy ear pads, but they hurt my ears after an hour or two of listening
One disappointment with these was that the ear cups were way to small and hurt my ears after long hours of use.
My only con is that they can hurt your ears after long listening sessions
Only issue is sometimes they feel a little bit uncomfortable after very long uses, but other than that, very pleased with these outstanding headphones!
The bass booms a bit more than is natural, but the sound is very clear and not muddy at all, and frankly I like
Although, there is a good bit more bass with these in comparison to the HD600s
Sound does leak quite a bit at high volumes but better than open headphones
I did like the vmodas, but the on ears were just a bit uncomfortable for my ears
The V-Modas reproduce sound with stunning clarity and the passive noise isolation is as good as one could possibly expect
On the positive I really like the way they combined steel and plastic in the headphones that gives these and industrial look and and a high quality feel
I am a frequent traveler, so noise isolation is important, and these headphones deliver in that department.
Well, I sure hope the headphones are "dry", unless they fell in the bathtub ;o)
On the positive I really like the way they combined steel and plastic in the headphones that gives these and industrial look and and a high quality feel
