I bought this kit because it seemed to offer a lot of value and parameters for a good price

Pros: simple instructions that are easy to follow, color chart to compare test strips to (see photo), the price was reasonable

Oddly enough, the instructions in the box state the opposite of the instructions on the water sampling jar .

The instructions were difficult to read and the results were inaccurate

Clearly this kit is inaccurate and that makes me consider the rest of the tests questionable

I suspect 4 bacteria kits and way less mineral test kits would have made more sense

The kit is easy to use and has a 100 tests worth in this box and the service from their team is superb

Also likely the test kit maybe useful for calculating water softener needs.

And again, this test was negative, yet the other (third kit) was positive

However, I am still confused as to the meanings Total Alkalinity, Bromine, Free Chlorine and Cyanuric Acid since all are captioned (Pools and Spas).

This gross error is suggestive of poor quality control in and of the business.

If you are needing accurate water quality results I would recommend having your water professionally tested for accurate results

it has 100 test strips which legitimately means 100 hundred water tests as the strips are great quality and you don't need 2 or 3 to get a good reading

It is a great comprehensive water test that is accurate, easy to read, and easy to use

I had my water tested professionally and then used this test kit to compare accuracy and the test was very accurate.

Was great being able to use this easy test kit vs the alternative of contacting and sending water samples to our local water testing facility waiting on results

The tests were ok on about HALF the tests but others throughout the test strip failed to read anything at all

We were having issues with our well and this was the perfect test to use to monitor our water

Otherwise, if you want to know what is really going on, then don't waste your money on these.

I think I just wasted my money on colorful strips of paper.

I use these frequently and the results are very accurate.

I was advised to send test samples of water out to a professional lab to get accurate results

I can only assume that the results are accurate because I don’t have other tests to compare against

There is a section of the strip that bleeds color to the adjacent square

The test strips are brightly colored with good color separation between results so they’re easy to read even in less than ideal lighting.

The water tests were great, but giving it three stars due to the panic my wife had when the color codes on the bacteria test was backward (see picture), claiming harmful bacteria are present if the color is amber, and safe if aqua

They are easy to read (so long as you don’t have problems seeing colors, as some folks do).These test strips are a good quick-check for your water supply, and can help you determine whether further laboratory testing is necessary.
