If you live in an out of the way area or want the added security of knowing if someone is approaching your driveway or walkway, this alarm is great.

So far there have not been any false alarms from wind or sun, although a squirrel or chipmunk can set them off.

Alarm is very loud and had multiple chimes which really are over kill

We had to try different locations to avoid false alarms from moving vegetation.

I rarely get false alarms with this even when the sun rises it never goes off, and the wind rarely sets it off
