Only con if you losing power U loose connection with transmitter [just relearn the unit with transmitter], but would still buy it again!I use it so I can close back door during winter , when it chimes to let dogs in

I have the detector 20 feet from the chime with only the front door between, and it frequently loses connection.

Way over sensitive constantly loses connection.

Loses connection with remote when there is a power loss/blink.

Doesn't seem to drain batteries quickly (I *really* appreciate not having to deal with changing batteries frequently...)
