They work well for sous vide and have not lost their vacuum during cooking

My only problem is that the rough material on the one side that allows channels for the air to escape easier, is the same roughness on the outside and it sometimes prevents the sealer from creating a good vacuum

I noticed the vacuum was loose....still kinda taut (using taut here very loosely) but loose

I use these a lot. works for vacuum sealing for storage or perfect for sous vide

But these are unusable as purchased for a Food Saver vacuum sealer.
