Works great first time out of the box.

The battery even had problems many times the laptop wouldn’t even charge and it would say that it couldn’t recognize the battery

Basically, it is not a clean laptop to begin with and will take TIME to clean up (If you are knowledgeable enough to even clean all of it up without messing up the system.
