All in all, if you've got a drill, some time, and can follow instructions, this kit works

Overall the kit was easy to use, hopefully it last with regular maintenance.

Purists might argue 3M is just repackaging a few different grits of sand paper and some rubbing compound but for the other 99.5% of the world, this kit is perfect.

Unlike the 3M sealant included in their more expensive kits (this kit does NOT include a sealant product), the Sylvania sealant is intended to be permanent and does not require periodic reapplication

Highly recommend sealing it with the 3M clear coat kit after it looks great and was very easy to apply.

The main difference between this kit and the more expensive 3M kits is that this one (39084) doesn't come with the Headlight Wax Sealant to coat your headlights with to prolong the clear/ clean look

Overall, well worth the money and the only way to improve this kit would be to include the sealant (although it's worth buying a bottle anyway to apply regularly after restoration).One final thought - I would buy the manual kit rather than the one with a drill attachment.

Was skeptical about how effective a kit for <$20 would be, however I can highly recommend this kit, the results were amazing headlights look brand new on my 2012 Tacoma

Lenses were clouded by original factory coating which was chipping off and clear in some spots, sanded down entire lens with provided pads, I frequently beat dust out of sanding pads and wiped lense surfaces down with clean t-shirt rags because build-up of dust in grit happens quickly and will mar the work.
