You need to apply it for a clear finish

You may want to tape off around the lights to protect your paint finish from accidental scratches

After much “elbow grease” with wet sanding, this product brought out a pretty clear finish.

Since I wasn't happy without a perfectly smooth finish, I went back and spent another couple of hours doing the full restoration process again, using a drill attachment to save some time

The compound polishes well and soon I got a nice clear finish

As I said you may have to go above what is asked for in scrubbing the lenses with the included product pads , but that will make sure that all of the yellowing has been removed for a better & clearer finish.

I've used other 3M Headlight products in the past, this one was easy to use, and provided a clear, clean finish on my 2004 Toyota Sienna

The kit provided some improvement, but the wipes really excelled at giving that clear, shiny finish.

You still have to mask the painted areas and it is hard to lay down a great finish using a wipe.
