They are a fine product but the threading was mislabelled

It works well and reasonable priced.

The price was great, the quality was excellent and they are much better than the softer zinc ones.

I would recommend 2 things if you buy, 1 test each one by inserting a screw to make sure they work and 2 out a dab of grease on each screw before you screw in.

Good thing I follow what he used for his project.

For a clean installation I drill a shallow pocket with a 15/32" brad point bit and then bore an 11/32" hole.

Great value when compared to the small quantity packages of threaded inserts sold at Lowes or Home Depot.

I prefer this style to T nuts for putting metal threads in wood.

It's nice that the correct size hex key is included

Drill the screw holes out with the proper sized bit and inset the RivNuts and your good to go.

I used these as inserts to connect the table top to the legs for a table that I was building.

Found out after installing in my table top.

I had about 1 in 5 didn't have clean threads, and if your hole isn't exactly lined up the threads will strip and bind.

The internal threads are sloppy as heck, these are very poorly made and would not meet SAE thread requirement dimensions.

The threads are not as smooth as they could/should be and benefit from running a tap through them after installation
