Take off the top grill and detach the wires from the switch

Top front grill of my refrigerator was easy to remove, then the small metal guard over the switches, pull off the lugs, out with the old, in with the new.

The lights in my SubZero fridge stopped working (all four bulbs were out) and their website indicated it might be a faulty switch.

I just used a slotted screw driver to carefully pry out the old switch, pulled out the connectors, attached the wire connectors to the new switch, then pushed back in the new switch.

The switch was easy to install and now my parents like me more than my sister.

The switch is fairly easy to access although ours did not come out easily and required a few minutes to get pulled out.
