I am able to shine the lights just where I want them due to the fact that this lamp is so adjustable.

The lights are easy to adjust to the angles I needed.

Works nicely for ambient lighting with smart light bulbs.

I used LED lights and I like the way I can adjust the positions of the individual lights.

It assembles in minutes, looks great, provides incredible lighting with low wattage bulbs, and is very sturdy when assembled.

too tick and bulky... the light is too dense and cannot be tolerated unless it is directed at the ceiling or walls.

We needed a soft light standing lamp in an all season's room and decided to give this a try

It is bigger than it looks and can accommodate bulbs of any reasonable size (we use LEDs to get that bright crisp light into otherwise dim areas)

With a second 100 watt lamp on the other side of the room, the lighting is adequate, but not what I was hoping for.

Great lighting

The overhead light from the fan is insufficient to see by at night, and we considered getting a single-source led lamp (the ones that shoot diffuse light upward) but decided instead to get an adjustable "tree" lamp instead

we agree with the other reviewers, this lamp looks much more expensive, it's solid, casts a very nice "glow", we use three 15 watts to keep it soft - it is most effective (kind of like gallery track lighting) when it's used to highlight something nice, like a nice wallpaper or art work on the wall, using it to give a "glow" to something nice - setting it up, it was facing down, lighting up my dog's corner, i.e. his crate & bowls & blanket (needed washing) stuff better left in the dark - so use it to "wash" something nice with a soft glow - good product, we bought two for our billiards room...very nice
