• Reviews around performance (4.48 of 5)

    Acer Aspire 7 Casual Gaming Laptop, 15.6" Full HD IPS Display, Intel 6-Core i7-8750H, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB, 8GB DDR4, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD, Fingerprint Reader, Windows 10 64bit, A715-72G-71CT

    • That eliminated the fan noise altogether, but seemed to cause significant performance lags
    • The CPU performance is amazing, outperforming my old FX-8320 in FireStrike Physics 8,972 to 6,768
    • All in all, there are a couple minor irritations (bloatware, dark screen, etc.) but having used this full time for the past two weeks, I am impressed at the responsiveness as well as the overall gaming performance that this thing delivers on the hottest game right now (Fortnite).
    • Gaming with this is a breeze, high fps and great performance
    • Very fast ssd for a budget laptop, decent IPS screen, good battery life, and most importantly great performance
    • Performance is great but, the temperatures were a little too
    • I agree with other reviews how this computer has good battery life and performance, but be aware it can have defects and if you do decide to buy (but maybe don't as i am sure there are better deals for laptops) keep a close eye.
    • Clear display, fast enough SSD, good performance CPU
    • Awesome performance for the price
    • Excellent performance for the price.
    • Sturdy laptop with excellent performance
    • Very good performance with decent battery life.
    • Of course HQ chips deliver the best performance while sacrificing battery life.
    • Will improve performance with 8GB DDR3 RAM
    • Oh, and the Nvidia card is plenty capable for gaming at medium settings at least (Grid Autosport FPS avg is in the 80s/90s or so)Initial assessment:+ Great and fast CPU and overall fast PC performance+ Backlight KB and travel feels pretty nice on the keys.+ Decent quantity of available
    • For a mid-tier priced laptop the price was just right, and the performance is good too
    • Great battery life, awesome performance and even better price
    • Superb value for money and powerful performance from this quad core computer
    • Good performance for the price and my intention as the support for my family was to have everyone on these with a spare to deal with ones that break down.
    • It has great performance in gaming
    • The performance of the new 8th generation quad-core i7 chip is incredible for a laptop
    • a gaming laptop and the i5-8250U does allow for a better battery life but it is a tad disappointing that even some older games' performance will be limited by the CPU.2
    • I would sacrifice weight when I get better performance
    • Pros: (from stock issued laptop)- Great gaming laptop for Sims 3 &4- Great performance and storage
    • Superb performance and excellent graphics, this Acer product gets the job done at a price that is reasonable.
    • Good value and pretty high performance
    • The performance is good but it runs hot
    • good performance with solid battery life.
    • If youre going to get this laptop make sure you get the ssd one for the best performance
    • Amazing performance for price
    • I don't think it's Acers fault as i see a lot of problems online with Windows 10 updates for version 1803 and i tried at least 5 fixes for this
    • It works as smooth and fast as the day I bought it, and now I have loaded with apps and programs.
    • So I took off 1 star for not having a feature that allows me to extend the time and another for Acer's inability to update their machines with this simple but useful feature, as well as for not making this limitation explicit in their documentation.
    • I've been operating computers for a long time - nearly 25 years, so I'm somewhat dubious as to the bells and whistles that the manufacturers of a computer puts out.
    • The perfect blend of old (DVD drive) and new (decent mobile GPU, SSD, USB C, and IPS
