    Acer Aspire 7 Casual Gaming Laptop, 15.6" Full HD IPS Display, Intel 6-Core i7-8750H, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB, 8GB DDR4, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD, Fingerprint Reader, Windows 10 64bit, A715-72G-71CT

    • The screen has started to once in a while do a little black blip for a fraction of a second, and it has hung several times as if all the processor was having difficulties handling the number of open programs even when I just have the browser open
    • The warranty from Acer does not cover physical damage though, as I learned after I dropped mine and cracked the screen
    • This 15.6 inch screen is my first 1080 screen on a laptop, and I love it!
    • other then the occasional screen freezewhen its working
    • I like to HDMI this to a nice big flat screen, Blu tooth it to my stereo, and have a multi media, all in one powerhouse
    • Luckily the HDMI port still works, so I can utilize my TV's screen to write this review...
    • Not the brightest screen I’ve seen, but certainly acceptable for all indoor use
    • Beautiful screen and resolution.
    • Works fast, great specs, wonderful screen resolutions
    • The wifi works reliably, the screen is bright, the battery life is good... unless you're gaming of course, and then it lasts maybe 1.5 hours
    • The screen is good but leaks a little bit with dark backgrounds in very dark environments
    • I find the screen is plenty bright myself
    • It has a good screen, input
    • The screen looks blurry in Chrome, but Microsoft Edge and everything else looks crisp and
    • The computer worked great for the first couple of months and then the screen stopped working.
    • I will say, however, that the screen is kind of AWFUL
    • Great buy, does what it says, superb screen, built like a tank but not quite as heavy
    • Perfect IPS screen, battery, good backlit keyboard
    • The screen looks good despite some other reviews
    • This laptop has the *most flimsy* screen I have ever seen on a laptop.
    • The biggest complaint I read about this laptop before I bought it was the screen
    • This had the right combination of features and a great screen
    • The only real weakness is the screen
    • Plus the screen is matte, so bright lights aren’t glaring.
    • Good screen colors
    • Incredible screen!!
    • The screen is easily the best screen in the house
    • I love this laptop, it is fast, portable, has a great screen, and is a awesome value
    • This is not super premium hardware but honestly I think it's built pretty well and the screen actually has really nice colors and viewing angles for a cheaper screen
    • Also among the complaints were people who liked to pay too much money for redundant gimmick features (let's call these people iPhone users), like fingerprint scanners and detachable screens and laptops that fold in half backward
    • Very fast ssd for a budget laptop, decent IPS screen, good battery life, and most importantly great performance
    • I hear the aspire 5 has a better build but has inferior screen
    • Very nice mated screen
    • I would have preferred a Touch Screen
    • Definitely a budget laptop so don't expect great keyboard keys but the screen is excellent
    • The screen is nice and big, the graphics are amazing, the sound quality is excellent
    • After about 15 minutes of running this, the computer will freeze completely, stay frozen for at least 5 minutes, and then the screen will go dark and it'll update for 10 minutes
    • However if you are past that and want an attractive looking practical large screen business-like machine with higher specs and lower cost this would be ideal
    • Some of the online reviews of this product complained that the screen is not bright enough, but I haven't experienced that problem.
    • Screen is decent, not great, it is matte finished
    • The screen will freeze, and the only solution is to force shutdown, do a battery reset, and then turn it back on
    • It is fast, no screen issues, no keyboard issues
    • Poor screen quality, extremely dim, lacks clarity, slow photo uploads
    • The screen goes dark but will not awaken.
    • I find that touch pads and touch screens get dirty with use, where as a mouse can easily be replaced
    • The screen is good but leaks a little bit with dark backgrounds in very dark environments
    • movies and streaming videos are crisp...and the screen is plenty bright
    • The computer appears to be on, but the screen is completely dark
    • The screen freezes back with mouse
    • All in all, there are a couple minor irritations (bloatware, dark screen, etc.) but having used this full time for the past two weeks, I am impressed at the responsiveness as well as the overall gaming performance that this thing delivers on the hottest game right now (Fortnite).
    • I needed something to be my "brain" and "test bench" machine that had all the usual connectors, could easily work with "Training Center" smart screen devices, and support programming projects which include conference room where taking notes and demonstrating functionality or getting code reviews can be helpful.
    • The screen looks great (though maybe not if all you do is look at 4k resolution) and the keyboard response feels pretty good.
    • Awesome VERY GOOD Laptop, screen, battery etc..
    • The third and most recent one of writing this review is that the screen and computer are completely non responsive
    • The screen looks great (both color and focus)
    • The screen is perfectly adequate
    • Screen looks good
    • well I've played so far, has excellent battery life, awesome screen
    • I bought two other Acer Aspires that were a different model for my kids for college back in September and the screen on this one is so much better - they thought theirs was fine until they saw mine
    • I can use the laptop off and on all day without worrying about charging it.-The keys, often described as mushy, still have a decent click and distance to them.-The backlit keyboard looks nice.-The screen is sharp, and this is coming from a guy who owns a 144hz IPS desktop monitor.-Compared to other laptops I've owned, this one stays pretty cool unless playing a game on full performance
    • Screen is bright, doesn't feel heavy
    • The screen is beautiful and HD videos and pictures look amazing on it.
    • Screen isn't great but is more than serviceable and the CPU can't really take advantage of the dedicated graphics but again this isn't really a great computer for heavy gaming
    • I’m worried that if it gets pushed or pressured, it could really damage the screen
    • The screen is kinda delicate but beyond that, it's all good!
    • Well it was the right thing to do, because after reinserting the battery, the screen works again when the simple battery reset button did not work.
    • after speaking with the service technician, it sounds like the rep said I had broken the screen (something not covered by their warantty, so I would have had to pay had the service tech not called!)
    • I wrote a quick cmd file to issue the command "shutdown /s
    • The perfect blend of old (DVD drive) and new (decent mobile GPU, SSD, USB C, and IPS
