And the battery life is amazing; I can get anywhere between 6-12 hours of battery life (depending on settings, brightness, applications, etc.).Reports show Google Chrome updates will begin to consume more memory on PCs and Macs.
The battery life is fairly good as it lasts roughly up to 11 hours
nice lighted keyboard 1080 15in 1080 touchscreen and great battery life alumium chassy
The screen is very bright and easily seen, even outsideThe battery life is incredible
Disappointing Thought we finally found a great chrome book computer with great price.
If you learn how to use a chromebook for what it can do, it can be a powerful multi-tasking computer for everyday use, of course with limitations to how much you can multitask
Nice looking Chromebook computer, bigger screen display than most Chromebooks, reasonably fast processor, responsive keyboard, nice screen display, sound is a bit
I am pretty computer literate for a layperson but found the learning curve to be quite steep

The keyboard would light up, but the screen did not work at all
Love the backlit keyboard, HDMI port, and type c charhing port

The sound is great, I love the backlit keyboard and it's very quick
The backlit keyboard, speakers and hd screen are all great
After doing some googling in attempt to fix it before shipping it back, I read that Acer has touchpad issues across the board
A Chromebook that is comparable to this and cheaper in price but similar in function is the Acer Chromebook 14, which I recommend you take a look at if you are tight on budget.
Either way, since this Acer is so affordable, I can excuse this and don’t expect it to be perfect experience when typing for me
I wish it was possible to give this unit, as well as Acer support, MINUS 5 starts.
It doesn't matter how many tabs I have open, no matter what I have going in the background, the Acer never misses a step.
The one thing that I don’t understand is the lack of an HDMI cable port
The reviews basically say that it doesn't do any one thing great, but it does everything well
that's the only bad thing I can find absolutely love love love
The only thing I noticed is that when I type, the screen shakes/vibrates at time
The other things, like processor speed, wifi sensitivity, sound, touchpad, etc. are all quite adequate (hey it's Not a thousand dollar computer) for normal use.
Received a laptop that turns on but the screen does not work at all
That way I can do my couch potato position where I lie on my back with pillow under my neck and knees up, and lay the laptop out vertical on my thighs to type on, with the screen at the best height for viewing
Plus chromebooks are the best laptops, they are super fast
You would think that laptops, by now, are easy to set up to print as well as accept other devices
This design really can fool people in thinking that this is a much pricier laptop than it is, and most people won’t even notice the Chrome badge on the top
Some people complained about the touchpad making a rattling noise, but mine doesn't do that

Also, I am noticing a few people having issues with their chrome books dead when they got theirs, they have juice but your supposed to plug them in before booting for the first time, once plugged in it should power on
