I'm a professional photographer and I skipped all the common high refresh TN gaming panels, instead favoring resolution and IPS colors for my production work
For now, great job Acer and kudos for bringing a more affordable 4k high refresh monitor to the market.
Fast enough refresh for gaming, and the resolution makes reading come ever closer to paper.
Instead, I've encountered stuck fixed values of 74fps, 87fps, and 98fps, and many others where variable refresh just completely stops working
I am only using one display port cable, so I don’t have the faster refresh rates.

144Hz refresh rate, 1440p resolution, good brightness, great built-in speakers, slim bezels, easy-to-use menu user interface, good port selection (1X DP, 2X HDMI, 4X USB !!!), overall great value for the moneyCONS: no cable management solutions, sale price of $299.99 may not last forever
n’t change a setting when you push on the joystick to confirm a setting, but I do prefer the joystick to buttons
I don't see any "ghosting", and the game feels and looks so smooth!Amazing picture resolution AND color = outstanding quality

Normal VRB mode offers a bright and vibrant experience, unlike earlier strobing monitors that are too dim or have color issues in strobing mode.- HDR video on YT, Amazon, and other
For gaming and when paired with a beast of a computer, this display produces a very good gaming experience; the best I've had, but not the best that can be had if you've got the coin, and the fact that many of it's best features exclude other features is somewhat disappointing
This means HDR at 400 nits can't display the dynamic range required for a great HDR experience at that brightness
In fact, adjusting the brightness down and playing in a darker room makes for a better experience
Overall a much better experience in every way, which I won't get into here

Sub Zero, RDR2, et al.) and the picture was actually very stunning with considerable less motion blur
Remember this though the backlight bleed is not nearly as bad as the pictures show and I have played Resident evil 2 and the bleed is easily forgettable

The Asus screams high quality though and beats this one in that case for it's super solid ergonomic stand and exceptional picture
The color during 4k viewing is real nice and the picture is crisp!

The color and brightness blew away any monitor I've ever used before
That was a mistake though the picture is gorgeous and the colors are vibrant, the resolution or even choices for the resolution had not changed from my old monitor
Is IPS the best panel tech for beautiful and vibrant color
This lets the monitor display intense colors that normal sRGB monitors simply cannot.- Good calibration out of the box
The colors of the base SDR color mode of the monitor are very good

I was able to get this monitor on sale for about $700 after tax, and for that price, the 4k 120Hz with freesync and DCI color space support is a good deal, in my opinion
What they don't tell you is that if its not affecting the monitor's functionality, they will not fix it (meaning if they feel like it's not a big deal)
The stand rotates 180 degrees, but it's a bit slow nd clumsy as you have to tilt it a
I LOVE this deal
Can’t find a better deal on a 2K monitor with the features this monitor come with

If you are playing any kind of fast paced action game or shooter the motion blur is unbearable
but:- Has support for backlight strobing for motion blur reduction
n’t change a setting when you push on the joystick to confirm a setting, but I do prefer the joystick to buttons
However if your going to be playing fast paced action games like Apex Legends, CS:GO or DOOM, the motion blur is going to be unbearable and really diminish not only the visual enjoyment but your gaming skill as well.

Mine was manufactured in May 2020 and I thought all the defects such as bad backlight bleed and dead pixels would be reduced
Your mileage may vary but the monitor I received has comically bad backlight bleed in each corner
In my case backlight bleed was far beyond terrible.. even worse than on the pictures from others reviews.1 star, sorry
Great text readability, minimal back light bleed, nice sleek design, decent glare reduction without making images blurry (see notes on the Dell unit below)
Like so many others have posted, these have absolutely horrific backlight bleed.
