• Reviews around bleed (1.33 of 5)

    Acer Nitro XV272U Pbmiiprzx 27" WQHD (2560 x 1440) IPS G-SYNC Compatible Monitor, 144Hz, 1ms VRB, VESA Certified DisplayHDR400, DCI-P3, Delta E<2

    • Great text readability, minimal back light bleed, nice sleek design, decent glare reduction without making images blurry (see notes on the Dell unit below)
    • Like others, there is terrible backlight bleed/blooming in each of the 4 corners of the panel
    • Like so many others have posted, these have absolutely horrific backlight bleed.
    • In my case backlight bleed was far beyond terrible.. even worse than on the pictures from others reviews.1 star, sorry
    • Colors are vibrant, gaming at 4k 120 hz with Freesync is great, but the backlight bleeding is unacceptable
    • Your mileage may vary but the monitor I received has comically bad backlight bleed in each corner
    • With this setting, backlight bleed was not really an issue (some small hot spots on top of screen with black image)
    • Like so many others have posted, these have absolutely horrific backlight bleed.
    • The light bleed is so bad that it completely occludes the edges of the screen in dark scenes
    • Then I saw other reviews pointing out that the light bleed was not that bad
    • So, while I accept that some few units may production issues causing backlight bleed, it is not a concern for normal units used in normal ways
    • Even with brightness on 10/100 there is still REALLY bad bleed.
    • At this price, this light bleed is just unacceptable
    • Mine was manufactured in May 2020 and I thought all the defects such as bad backlight bleed and dead pixels would be reduced
    • I did not have any problems with dead pixels, excessive IPS glow or backlight bleeding.
    • There is no undue backlight bleed for me
