    • The Bad :-Some people reported that their Helios 300 came without an HDD caddy and cable kit which means you can't extend your storage until you getit trough buying (35$ before shipping) or contacting Acer support to have it shipped to you for free
    • Contacted Acer support and originally said new adapter will be sent out within 5-7 business days.
    • After an online chat with ACER support, they told me it'd be a turnaround time of 5-10 business days to send it to a repair center, and I couldn't wait that long as a student who needed a laptop ASAP because my other one died
    • Acer support please take notice.
    • You must contact Acer support for them to ship you the Caddy AND the cable that connects to the motherboard and then to the HDD
    • I tried reinstalling the drivers and I contacted Acer Support three different times and nothing was fixed
    • I actually had to call Acer support to get this fixed, which finally happened by toning down a couple of relatively obscure settings within Windows

    • UPDATE 5/29/2017I contacted with Acer support about the AeroBlade 3D fans again to learn whom to further contact to at least understand why they changed their minds about installing the newest fans for this model

    • If you call Acer support in the US they will be able to help you by sending the part to ONLY a residential address within the US or Canada, they will not send this to a commercial address or any international shipping agencies

    • Only missing part was second HDD caddy, and Acer support was extremely good in supplying the missing option

    • ACER support will not cover this part in their warranty if you are a customer outside of the USA or Canada

    • But fortunately, the people from Acer support are very fast and they immediately send you what you need to install the HDD
