Yes the fans are a bit louder than my previous laptop, but they are not excessively noisy.

although I personally don't think it's that much of a problem...however plane flights might get boring too fast.-A bit noisy under heavy load-Display brightness leaves a lot to be desired when you sit on a porch with this laptop.-Design...that is a personal one, I would much prefer something more discreet and less loud like HP Omen or Dell XPS13's design, even Razor Blade looks slicker and more premium

This is an important one while gaming, yes it does get hot but you wont feel it while gaming as the area is hottest only above the keyboard and a bit hot on the lined up numbers

it will work still but kinda looks a little weird, the x3 is just right just a tiny bit wider than the computer

One more thing I struggled little bit was getting dual boot (windows and Ubuntu) setup

Also when you unplug the power source you lose quite a bit of frame rates anyway
