Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" Full HD IPS, Intel i7-7700HQ CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, GeForce GTX 1060-6GB, VR Ready, Red Backlit KB, Metal Chassis, Windows 10 64-bit, G3-571-77QK

    • It can be a bit too sensitive when tapping the pad and seems to register clicks when I just graze the pad
    • The track pad / gesture set up took a bit to get used to, but now I love it
    • Gets a bit hot on high load, but fans are efficient enough at keeping the keyboard from getting too uncomfortable
    • I did a good bit of comparison
    • Also a bit of lagging between programs, unsure as to why this laptop is doing that
    • Screen is good but not great, as Linus Tech Tips says "its like store bought cake, it looks really good out of the box, but your first bite into it makes you a little disappointed its still taste
    • Yes the fans are a bit louder than my previous laptop, but they are not excessively noisy.
    • although I personally don't think it's that much of a problem...however plane flights might get boring too fast.-A bit noisy under heavy load-Display brightness leaves a lot to be desired when you sit on a porch with this laptop.-Design...that is a personal one, I would much prefer something more discreet and less loud like HP Omen or Dell XPS13's design, even Razor Blade looks slicker and more premium
    • This is an important one while gaming, yes it does get hot but you wont feel it while gaming as the area is hottest only above the keyboard and a bit hot on the lined up numbers
    • Fan does get a bit loud, but absolutely within reason, and with headphones on you won't even notice them.
    • Fan noise did kick up quite a bit as expected (just like my desktop 970) but the pitch from the laptop is a bit higher so it more noticeable but not distracting unless you have game volume very low.
    • so it wobbles a little bit when you put both palms on it, but that's an easy thing to

    • it will work still but kinda looks a little weird, the x3 is just right just a tiny bit wider than the computer
    • Would I like the fan noise to be a bit quieter
    • My screen flickered after being on for 15 min, has me worried a little bit because i was only downloading everything.
    • Needs constant cleaning to keep from looking dirty-Fan can be a bit loud with heavy loads and using "Predator
    • The only problems are the screen is little bit too dim, makes eyes uncomfortable, and the touch pad is kind of warm.
    • .I love the design and the material quality, the fans are a bit loud under heavy load, but it is to be expected when you cram power into a relatively small box
    • But I am not a single bit guilty about spending the money on myself that I did for this
    • One more thing I struggled little bit was getting dual boot (windows and Ubuntu) setup
    • Also when you unplug the power source you lose quite a bit of frame rates anyway
    • It gets fairly bright and the dynamic range seems good enough, but the gamma is a bit out of whack and it crushes detail near black so that everything in shadows looks just plain black
    • I am considering buying the Samsung Evo/Pro to see if I can get a bit better performance for game load times
    • .I love the design and the material quality, the fans are a bit loud under heavy load, but it is to be expected when you cram power into a relatively small box
    • the delivery box was opened and i was a lil bit scared bcuz i thought the laptop box too
    • laptopCONS:-CPU & GPU ran a bit warm while gaming CIV VI (85 degrees Celcius)-Screen sides leak a bit of backlight-
    • I really enjoyed id
    • Amazing I bought mine with 1tb hd easy to install runs everything at high-ultra 60fps
    • Got a 4T gaming hard drive to supplement, the low 300gb hard drive this laptop sports.
    • (Acer Aspire E 15) was a noob compared to this beastly computer
