    • Was missing the required cables inside to install the hard drive Amazon suggested to bundle with the machine, after 2 weeks with no ETA from Acer on when the cable would be sent
    • Despite the missing drive caddy / cable out of the box, I think this machine is worth every penny
    • Either the connector on the motherboard is damaged or faulty, or the cable itself is a lemon.

    • I was delighted with the Predator's expansion bay option until I saw that I too was missing the caddy and proprietary SATA cable, which will require me to open up the laptop to install if I eventually do get both parts
    • The problem I have is the cable that wasn't included in the box to add the 2nd SSD
    • However, the one I received did not come with the hard drive cable or the hard drive caddy installed in the drive bay.
    • It took me 30 minutes to install the hard drive cable; 5 minutes to unscrew the 17 screws and remove the two doors on the bottom of the case, 15 minutes to remove the bottom using Acer's directions, 5 minutes to locate and plug in the cable, and 5 minutes to snap the bottom back on the laptop and install the 17 screws
