ONCE you disable the USB Hub function in the settings--if you don't, the display refresh rate will be very slow and it'll seem like your Mac is slow as heck
This monitor is wide, well-made and the display is beautiful.
Instead of nitpicking, I decided to actually enjoy the beautiful display
Again it's a beautiful monitor everything works as it should as far as colors, sound, stand,

Overall, if money is not an issue, the those people should look at the Dell model, if aesthetic looks are paramount (although I actually prefer the look of the Acer over the LG myself), go for the LG, but if best bang for the buck is wanted, then look no further than the AcerXR382CQK bmijqphuzx.
I realized pretty quickly that this is actually the same panel as the LG and while it's not quite a slick looking (LG has a more bezel-less display
Absolutely beautiful picture, great looking monitor.

I was thinking that with the curve, bezel, and limited height that I still may need to get 2 monitors (maybe 2 32s or 2 34s), but honestly now I'm able to organize all my working windows on the same screen as well as use the MacBook's display for additional windows that don't need my constant attention
I also had a used a 39" 1080p LED TV for a monitor for the past year while waiting to get something better and I found that it, and the first monitor I bought to replace it, a 4K 42" was just too tall for comfortable use
This is a great overall monitor that most people will enjoy using.
When used with a GTX1080 display card the picture quality is remarkable.
The stand is tall, so the screen can slide up high and tilt back for comfortable use while standing.

For the greenbacks we pay for this, I would think they could do a better job with the manual.
The sick LED lights that display under the monitor are a great touch and one that I really think adds to the uniqueness of this display.- Finally, the stand looks amazing, and does a good job keeping the monitor steady when you're typing
However, it does a pretty decent job at accentuating contrast from experience, specifically in the games I tested (Destiny 2 and PUBG).Next, the panel itself - Great
The matte screen finish really helps with reducing glare since there is a window directly behind where I'm sitting so the sunlight was always a pain, but the monitor does a good job at reducing the

For work I use a Macbook Pro and it's important to understand the ports will work with using USB-C for power delivery and vid, but at USB 2.0 speeds
(no screen tearing) in MechWarrior Online at maximum settings and a smooth dreamy experience in one of the worst optimized games available
This is still a smoother experience than a 4K 60hz screen and has very good input latency which helps in FPS games dramatically.
it's also impressive, I got great experience when playing games, and 21:9 videos
Better experience than 2 monitors where there is a GAP in the middle between monitors

The resolution is amazing, there is no pixelation or led backlight bleed.
You may be looking for a certain size, a particular refresh rate, a particular resolution, IPS or a curved panel, the list goes on and on
Connecting the 2012 MacBook Pro with an HDMI cable gives you the full resolution (as well as some lower resolutions that look fine) but only at 30htzDocumentation for this monitor is the worst because it's all but non-existent

The resolution is great - getting 60Hz at 3840x1600 via USB-C on my 2016 MBP 15-inch

ZERO dead pixels and panel/color quality is equal to my old panel
+Stunning beautiful Design.+Great picture quality.+Great for multitasking if you want just one monitor.+Ambient under-lighting with multiple color options.+Decent
Again it's a beautiful monitor everything works as it should as far as colors, sound, stand,
Not good quality would not recommend or buy again especially for 800 dollars
I put the warnings first and the positive qualities last

A little breakdown:Pros:- Monitor provides great picture, at 3840x1600 it offers amazing detail to whatever I'm viewing.- Same IPS panel that the LG has, so for those concerned about the picture quality, the two should be
+Stunning beautiful Design.+Great picture quality.+Great for multitasking if you want just one monitor.+Ambient under-lighting with multiple color options.+Decent
so no picture tear or any visible slow down was noticed

The size of objects at the native resolution is ideal (everything was too small on my 28" monitor at its native 4k
I like the size of the monitor, straight on focus covers ~1/3 of the
PRO:-Size is shockingly good, but it took ~3 hours to get used to
are very nice.-Size and pixel density are ideal-Ghosting/motion blur/response time is minimal/unnoticeable.-$300+ cheaper than other brands that use the same panels on the market that aren't gaming focused

This is a minor issues but bothers me just because of the price I paid, I would expect something simple like LED lights to work properly
The lights under the monitor are great at night - when on white, they provide a nice soft/subtle light for your entire desk
And the white is smooth, and pure like an expensive sheet of paper in good daylight, but not harsh sun light
very bright and very white whites.-Bottom LED lights are pretty cool, easy to change or turn off.-Very comparable or BETTER than the LG 38uc99 in every way
The sick LED lights that display under the monitor are a great touch and one that I really think adds to the uniqueness of this display.- Finally, the stand looks amazing, and does a good job keeping the monitor steady when you're typing

It's generally a very annoying thing to use a computer at anything less then 60hz
This thing is amazing
The only bad thing i can say is that if you have an inferior card that doesn't power this monitor to 4k, you might run into some issues in terms of your graphics card recognizing your monitor and having the "no signal" problem
Bought an LG ultrawide and that thing just seemed super cheap by comparison
The display switch is the only slightly annoying thing--you have to do it manually and it takes 4 actions: double tap last menu button to bring up input switcher, move left, tap again to confirm the switch
