I have read that some people are using as bookshelf speakers and would not recommend because they don't have the full range of sound that a good speaker designed for that purpose can provide.

I ended up purchasing a pair of speakers from Best Buy for $40 which were much larger, and included higher quality metal brackets with the ability to ceiling mount.
Great buy and would be useful once they are set up correctly

Not What I expected....sound quality is not very good at all.
In summary,when the speakers on my Logitech Z-2300 gave out, I purchase another Logitech sound system and returned it because of the inferior sound quality

Good Product works the way it was intended for, it will not turn on your dolby light on the receiver to let you know that dolby atmos is active but it will work.
