I have a box of about more than a dozen thumb drives of all sizes and well-known brands, most being six months to two years old.

While read/write speeds are okay for a usb 3 drive of this size, I would recommend another brand that is a bit more durable.

USB 3.0 devices are known to put put a good deal of "noise" and can interfere with the operation of wireless mice, keyboards, or other devices that you may already be using, particularly those working in the 2.4 ghz range

I copy aprox 40 meg from one folder to another on the drive it locks up the systems and makes the drive completely "dead", as in no longer showing in My Computer or Disk Manager or Device Manager... pops up as an unknown USB Device
