  • One of the most important tools a bass player needs is a good amp that can deliver good clean power with tone that suits your playing or style of music you play
  • Great control of tone and enough power for home use.

  • It's important to note that this amp is on the warmer tonal side of bass amps, and for most people that is a very good thing, description such as organic, earthy, chewy, get used a lot in regards to this amp, but if your tastes are more hi-fi and bright (Eden, trace Elliot, swr etc), and you want the cleanest and most neutral sound, you may be better served by a different amp
  • Can't say enough good things about this Aguilar

  • I used to have a bad run with consumer electronics in the past which at first worried me about buying from the USA (making it difficult to return or exchange), but I am very pleased to report a perfect track record with Amazon
  • and as I live in Australia and happy to say I can enjoy the superb track record of Amazon so far with quite a few purchases of this type, complex electronics, and fortunatley I have had no problems at all

  • Plugged in my trusty Musicman stingry (with flatwounds) into the Aguilar and felt like I was in heaven: zero noise, incredible touch sensitivity, nailed every tone I could think of, low end thump like I've only dreamed about, terrific ability to go from vintage to modern using the gain control structure and never had it above 11 o'clock until I backed off because the house was shaking so much.

  • Great tone!
  • While there were some favorable competitors, such as the Markbass, this Tone Hammer 350 has a beautiful tone range that I am still exploring
  • The tone is fantastic

Reviews around amp (3.22 of 5)

  • Very powerful pre amp and tone section allows you to go from a clean modern sound to a vintage tube like sound that compresses and tightens up the bottom
  • This amp is a monster, the tonal varieties available are unbelievable
  • One of the most important tools a bass player needs is a good amp that can deliver good clean power with tone that suits your playing or style of music you play
  • Slap, pop, jazz, blues, prog rock, funk, pop, classical, you name it, this amp can nail it.
  • I think I was partially wrong about that, this amp is very capable of delivering both clean and hi-fi sound
