The streaming is smooth, the usability is straightforward, but for us, as a dashboardmaker we obviously find the dashboard functionality of Airtame fantastic
Our experience includes streaming presentations, collaborative work and videos
Once the person was removed from there, the streaming worked like a charm without any cut offs
Only issue I have is that streaming from Linux is not as straightforward as on Mac/PC
Besides the smooth and high quality streaming, what impressed us was its quite unique feature of dashboards displaying
Setup is easy and if you get stuck, Airtame's support is fast and responsive
My main problem with it is the setup
Setup was easy and connecting a device to the unit was even easier.
I have been using Airtame for a while now and the flexibility + easy setup is really incredible
This is what the airtame was MADE for easy and reliable setup if you use the right enterprise level router you solve 90% of the bad reviews and comments i've been seeing
But it also has nice security features - it supports connecting to non-broadcasting WiFi networks, it supports connecting a USB/Ethernet adaptor for a hardwired connection if it's available, and it supports a secondary, direct-to-device network so that we can let our guests, vendors, etc
Nice product that continues to evolve with better and better features.
Another nice feature is the optional PIN number which when turned on generates a random PIN number on the TV or display which you then enter into your desktop/laptop app.

It was a bit complex to setup device at the beginning, but it worked as promised
AirTame has promised extended desktop support and a variety of other features for over three years, but it still doesn't support extended desktop on any operating system.

This has helped save a lot of time and grief when it comes to having to support vendor laptop connections that aren't always recent
Unstable connection to a wifi network that has no problem with other devices
Worth using the ethernet adaptor if you have a shaky wireless connection
We've already filed a Feature request as this could be confusing for users while IT Departments have policies about naming their devices.- Sometime Airtime losses its Connection
Requires a strong WiFi connection, however, you can purchase an ethernet adapter for smoother projecting.
