Reviews around response (5.00 of 5)

  • Sound is very good with decent bass response and relatively flat perceived response from about 35hz - 10,000hz
  • It's amazing what AKG managed to pull off with this set of headphones, the bass is not bad at all, that's the number one complaint I've seen on the previous model AKG K553 Pro's and these have a nice tight, but not too tight bass response, very accurate in my opinion

Reviews around environment (5.00 of 5)

  • Except for a bit of resonance at very high volume bass notes, my only other beef is that I find the headband less comfortable than the AKG 240.Overall, I’d suggest these deliver detailed, flat response at low volumes and can be used in quiet environments without others hearing anything when not cranked.
  • For me though I don’t intend to play that loud, as these are more for use in quiet environments
  • So they are suitable for listening in quiet environments without worrying about disturbing others, provided you listen at normal levels

Reviews around ear muff (5.00 of 5)

  • The ear muffs themselves are super plush and large, so even with glasses and larger ears, the muffs never pinch, even after long uses

Reviews around quality (5.00 of 5)

  • Sound quality is good, and the headphones are comfortable
  • Though it's a plug for better quality sound, not your basic 3.5 mm male to male

Reviews around thing (5.00 of 5)

  • I'm using these for mixing and mastering and have them chained to my Universal Audio Arrow Audio Interface and these things work like a beauty
  • Which (for all you recording artists) is a great thing

Reviews around replacement cable (5.00 of 5)

  • Musically -- from Magnetic Fields to Megadeth to Michael Jackson to Mozart -- everything sounds crisp & fantastic with these cans on your ears.(I ordered the straight replacement cable from AKG and it works fine, my stomach feels a little better too).

Reviews around bass (3.22 of 5)

  • At very high levels of volume with strong bass notes these can produce an audible resonant buzz, as revealed by an online “bass shaker” test
  • It's amazing what AKG managed to pull off with this set of headphones, the bass is not bad at all, that's the number one complaint I've seen on the previous model AKG K553 Pro's and these have a nice tight, but not too tight bass response, very accurate in my opinion

  • but they won't kick out ridiculous sub bass in every song

Reviews around headphone (3.22 of 5)

  • Sound quality is good, and the headphones are comfortable
  • Just know these headphones sounded super boring to my ears coming from other cans
  • Tldr: These headphones are amazing, comfortable, light, and have accurate and crisp, yet insulated, sound
  • The headphones themselves are very very comfortable
