Reviews around machine (5.00 of 5)

  • It's too bad because if they put just a little more effort forth this could have been a nice machine for the price
  • I used to have the Roland SPD-S, a very solid machine, so when I bought this, I thought perhaps it would be a little less solid, but still very good quality
  • , I would't recomend this product as it doesnt works properly even for a amateur musician.
  • As far as durability and solidity, the Roland is a 9+, this machine is maybe a 3+ TOPS
  • Even at the retail price, it's a great machine with a focused range of use

Reviews around sample (5.00 of 5)

  • Yea, the samples sound good with the alesis pre amps but loading and programming is the worst ever
  • , I would't recomend this product as it doesnt works properly even for a amateur musician.
  • For the softer samples it’s somewhat difficult to hear over the rest of the mix

Reviews around thing (5.00 of 5)

  • This thing has been enjoyable
  • I got this pad and wouldn't not turn on so sent it back and got another one doing the same thing if it would work its a good deal
  • It's not the most flexible as far as placement, but wow, this thing doesn't flinch.

Reviews around samplepad (5.00 of 5)

  • The SamplePad Pro is not perfect but offers tremendous bang for the buck if you are willing to spend the time needed to dial out the quirks
  • , I would't recomend this product as it doesnt works properly even for a amateur musician.
  • , I would't recomend this product as it doesnt works properly even for a amateur musician.
  • Love the Samplepad itself, but wish it came with a mount rather than having to purchase it separately

Reviews around screen (5.00 of 5)

  • Parameters will randomly change mid performance, the LED screen will blink on and off, the pads themselves are really unresponsive and not fun to play
  • : I'd like a brighter view screen for outdoor shows

Reviews around quality (3.91 of 5)

  • The pads are a very nice sensitivity to them and the sound quality is actually good
  • I personally think the quality of the sound bank is good
  • And has very poor quality when using either outputs 1 or 2
  • Ehhhhh.....for 300 bucks, I expected a lot better quality
  • I used to have the Roland SPD-S, a very solid machine, so when I bought this, I thought perhaps it would be a little less solid, but still very good quality

Reviews around deal (3.61 of 5)

  • , I would't recomend this product as it doesnt works properly even for a amateur musician.
  • Sound samples take a few seconds to load when changing between kits (this is a bummer but not a deal killer)
  • I got this pad and wouldn't not turn on so sent it back and got another one doing the same thing if it would work its a good deal
  • A little annoying, but really, no big deal.

Reviews around unit (3.09 of 5)

  • Nice little unit for the money but the line noise on the output is unacceptable.
  • so I had the added joy of selling the brand new unit on Ebay for a loss
  • Got three defective units in a row: 1st wouldn't update, 2nd wouldn't power on right, 3rd pads started not registering right, even at the highest sensitivity.
  • One little fix and this would be a nice unit for those added effects in your group.
  • Only had this unit for a few months and the sound stopped working

Reviews around good (1.00 of 5)

  • Unfortunately, after about a month, one of the pads burned out on the new unit as well
  • Doesn't work as well as we thought it would.
