My amazon box came in pretty rough, but the monitor was very well protected in the Alienware packaging/foam, no dead pixels or major issues at all

Not the brightest ever but not an issue unless you're in an extremely lit room.

I had no dead pixel issues, and the brightness was more than adequate in my somewhat light room.

(No dead pixels and minimal bleed/glow)IPS has native issues such as backlight bleed and glow

Fortunately, the out of warranty service at Dell were able to correct my warranty issues although the call took about 20~30 minutes.

I think I'll live with the Dell until these monitor companies finally solve some unreasonable existing tech issues

The only negatives I haveWith some brief google searching, it appears to be a known issue among AW users with the AW software to adjust lighting via the desktop application
