It is either poor quality control or lowering the brand standard.

Feels like Dell put significantly better quality materials (plastic) into this monitor than the poorly aligned flimsy plastic they chose for the R11 desktop PC
-
The visual quality is amazing
-
Granted, my 1080ti has to work a lot harder now since I upped my resolution quite a bit from 2560x1440.Still, the quality is insane and if you can get one on
-

Overall I am happy with the AW3420DW for the significantly better build quality, as well as having a dedicated G-SYNC module for the more graphically intensive games I play where frame rate can fluctuate more.
-
I've played previously only at 4K for about 8 months, and when I went back to 1080p I was astounded as to how much better my computer handled it.
-
The only negatives I haveWith some brief google searching, it appears to be a known issue among AW users with the AW software to adjust lighting via the desktop application
-
n’t go wrong with it
-
Even the alien head logo on the back is nicer and more subtle/less gamer-y.
