    • Hook the top straps and the rack stays in place, then connect the side straps and tighten them and finally connect the bottom strap and tighten it.
    • So longer straps there would be nice
    • When going about 70 mph it held up pretty well, but there was some loosening of the top straps (pretty minor), but with the help of small bungee cords everything was able to remain stable
    • And the straps don't look too secure to me; they do not look like in the video
    • Easier strap for the bike bar would be better, but still no complaints
    • I don't trust it on long car rides without knotting the straps, and rechecking them throughout the trip.
    • Like anything else take your time securing the straps and use bungee cords as reinforcement for a piece of mind
    • Yesterday I was driving and somehow one of the straps snapped and mike bike fell of and was dragged and is now bent (front wheel and brakes) ripped and damaged
    • Another thing to keep in mind regarding the straps, if they are mounted inside the car as mine are, the rack should be removed from the car after each use
    • I recently had the lower strap show some wear (not unexpected after 4 years I guess) and I emailed their customer service
    • The old one failed when, after three years of use, the top straps broke and my bike fell to the pavement, fortunately undamaged
    • Also the straps are not safe enough and it scratch my Rav4 by the way
    • only downside is the straps that actually hold your bike to the rack are a little weak i will be replacing them with more durable straps or even just ziptie my bike to the rack with a cloth between materials
    • I also don't really trust the straps that tie in the back (have come loose on me) but I just use some extra bungie cords with no issues
    • Little sketchy the straps kept falling off the trunk

    • My child's bike fit fine right side up by securing one strap just under the seat and the other strap to the main body bar
    • Well constructed, solid parts, strong straps and clips, good padding to protect your vehicle from scratches and mars.
    • The straps we tightened as best as we could, I’m a freak when it comes to the straps for car seats being
    • My solution is to wrap a bungee cord around each cradle and strap, nice and tight.
    • Each cradle has a strap which you are supposed to tighten to hold the bike in place, but I find those straps loosen up very quickly, like within a mile or two.
    • As long as all the straps are secured, this works like a dream.
    • I always tighten the straps again after securing my bike on the rack and also secure the wheels with bungee cords/the excess straps so that they don't spin or turn to hit my car
    • I was extremely paranoid driving and looking at the rear view mirror but guess what the extra strap that they provide to wrap around the front wheel was perfect, and I didn't even get a nudge on the bike nor any scratches on the car
    • Having two top straps, two side straps and one bottom strap made this thing rock solid
    • The part that you feed the strap through to secure the bike
    • Im happy with it, but you have to be careful to make sure all the straps are loose because removing the clasps from the grooves of your car, it could scratch your paint.
    • I loosen the top straps, just one pull, then loosen the side straps and remove them one at a time, hang them down, then remove the bottom strap, then with your body bracing against the rack, remove the top straps and let hang down
    • After three uses, the straps broke off while I was driving, sending my bike flying onto the road
    • Easier strap for the bike bar would be better, but still no complaints
    • The premium version of this rack has the "quick secure" straps which are probably a better alternative to the nylon straps that this one uses.
    • I attached it relatively quickly and the straps were easy to tighten and stayed tight
    • The anti-sway straps didn't work well at first, but did after routing those straps around the bottom of rack (see picture).I had to use a screwdriver to loosen the top straps that secure the top tubes of the bicycles to the rack, but it was easy to loosen them after that
    • We like the straps used to secure the bikes snugly, they spin around to be used in multiple positions, then are tightened down for a good fit
    • The only negative is the straps will scratch the paint on your car and also if you put your bike on the rack closest to the trunk it will scratch the bike up too
    • The metal hooks used to secure the straps are excellent for scratching and chipping your paint job
    • Rack held up perfect and the straps are awesome
    • It fits Tesla Model 3 well - there are 5 clips : two on top, two on the sides and one at the bottom - each with adjustable strap
    • Don't muddle up the top straps and the side straps.2/ On - hook top straps first, hook side straps, slightly tighten side straps to hold in place, hook lower strap, fully tighten lower strap, fully tighten side straps, check straps.3/ Off - loosen & unhook lower strap, loosen side straps, unhook top straps, open trunk.4/ Keep the straps flat as they go
    • Install tightening the top strap first then tighten each strap a little at a time on top, bottom and sides
    • The only way to attached the top straps is to the top spoiler which is a terrible idea
    • Didn't mount well, wasn't very secure even with straps all the way tight, excess strap hanging off on every piece and got pulled over, issued a $120 ticket for obstructing my license plate
    • Assembly was easy, attaching bikes wasn’t difficult, however, getting the straps tight enough to secure the bike is a challenge
    • so I used the extra straps to secure the bike to my car and bungee cords
    • You'll also want to get an extra strap or rope to secure your bike from pulling up while driving
    • The straps keep bikes on there no problem
    • Be sure to tie off every strap like the instructions say, and I also used an additional bungee cord to secure the bike frame and tires to the rack, and wrapped the pedal against my car with a sock
    • Once the top straps were adjusted correctly for length it is very easy to remount the rack when needed.
    • Use bungie cord(s) to secure the front tire(s) from moving and place the bikes in opposite directions.
