It's a great length for a charging cord, especially when my kindle is dead and I want to keep reading!

Better to stick to the brand to protect Kindle.

but alas, this charger has breathed new life into my old, reliable Kindle.

If it's due to the threads in the Micro- USB slot of the Kindle device ( or other device) becoming brittle, as they often do after a few years of heavy use and frequent charging due to necessity, it's not the cable that's failed, it's the Kindle ( or other) unit's failure

This cord is definitely compatible with my kindles making it easier and faster to charge.

Really miss my Kindle, all of those unread books, ugh!!

Amazon gave to me because my Kindle was not working

Had a dead Kindle Fire HDX 8.9

It fits into my Kindle Fire 6 snugly and it fits into my Kindle rapid charger snugly, too, so it doesn't constantly pull out at the slightest tug on it

I no longer use my Kindle but this cord works great for phone.

My Kindle is completely dead now and will not turn on at all It is not depleted of a charge it is fried (not the fault of an outlet, it was plugged into a surge protector)
