Distilled water is the cure and it makes great coffee and tea.

As I prefer to pour boiled water into my instant lunches instead of putting it in the microwave & boiling it there, this is very convenient to use for that (and of course for hot tea!).If you notice in the last of the official images there is 1 rubber foot missing on the left (there should be 3 white feet).
