As far as I can tell, it stays on well in the water - went swimming for quite a while and did not get a sunburn despite bright bright sun.

Even though it's only 30 SPF it seems to do the job just fine for a couple of hours in our home pool, even when the sun is super intense.

I don't think its too bad, especially for my arms, and will use it because it protects from the sun well.
