I turned on the machine and the ice cream maker started making horrible jolting noises

Then swift back and forth movement that jolts the machine around and makes a loud (very loud) clanky noise

I noticed that when I tried t fix my mistake- after scraping everything out and rinsing the freezer bowl with hot water.. I dumped the mixture through lid port and the paddle started grinding- making the loud noise like some mentioned
