AmazonBasics Big & Tall Executive Computer Desk Chair - Adjustable with Armrest, 350-Pound Capacity - Brown with Pewter Finish

    • It actually ripped the metal out.
    • Other thoughts:While anything that can be plastic (base, arms, etc.) is just that, the parts are well formed and give an excellent "metal like" appearance
    • However it is now just 7 months later and the seat is so flat and worn out that I am sitting on the hard metal and plastic that is under the padding
    • TURN THEM ANYMORE - doing so will probably damage the thin metal such that the arms won't stay attached for long - if they can be attached at all once the metal is damaged.
    • The metal around the height adjustment bar has split apart (see pic).
    • Note that the angle of the metal lower back support is fixed (this makes the chair stronger, but it is solid metal and has maybe 1/4 inch of padding over it.
    • as good as it gets for the money
    • The chair is able to move in height, as well as, in the length for the seat can be made wider
    • This chair does have a tilting feature, as my previous chairs had, but this chair will not tilt back sufficiently enough as to allow me to lift my feet off the floor and stay tilted back.
    • The height adjustment piston began failing an d not holding position adjustment by Aug 10
